Bi Feng Tang 避风塘 (literally means "Storm Shelter" in Mandarin), managed by Gourmet Cuisine Pte Ltd, has been in the market for 3 years. And we have since received countless compliments for our cuisines served in our 4 outlets across Singapore. It's owner, Mr Guay Kim Hee has long established a name for himself in the F&B industry in Singapore for his traditional Hong Kong style roast meat outlets in 14 food court stalls across island wide over the two decades.
It was only in 2004, when Mr Guay decided to expand his renowned roast meat's business and opened its first restaurant called Bi Feng Tang 避风塘 in United Square. We adopted an "open kitchen" concept to ensure all our ingredients used are the most freshest and of good quality with all your favorite dishes prepared right in front of your eyes.
Bi Feng Tang 避风塘, is just like a shelter from the bustle of crowded city, is an ideal, relaxed free restaurants to rest your tired feet and at the same time, also to indulge in our authentic Cantonese cuisines, at an affordable and reasonable price, without having to jostle with the hungry crowd at the food courts and to spend a big amount in a high end Chinese restaurant. Our first outlet at United Square has a simple décor, with bare concrete flooring, wooden tables and chairs, wooden wall panel with lights filtering through all evoke a sense of cozy calm environment, making it more atmospheric to truly savor our Cantonese cuisines served on your table, which you always have to queue before Bi Feng Tang 避风塘 was introduced by Mr Guay. It is so thoughtful of him indeed. In additional, Mr Guay, himself hired a few chefs from Hong Kong to really feast our customers at no cost.
