Once a novelty, ramen eateries are now found in almost every other shopping enclave. The latest kid on the block is Bishamon Sapporo Ramen which recently opened its first outlet in Great World City.
Unlike other ramen, the broth in Sapporo-style ramen can be either chicken- or pork-based, and often has miso added to it. At Bishamon Sapporo Ramen, the soup is brewed from both chicken and pork for eight hours, and has a lighter taste than your typical pork-based broths.
