Boomarang Bistro & Bar, the latest Australian eatery to float upstream, actually captures the country’s laidback spirit quite accurately with its riverfront location at Robertson Quay, relaxed ambience and menu of fresh produce, much of which is sourced directly from Aussie farms.
The 268-seater serves everything one would expect to find at a restaurant at, say, Sydney’s Circular Quay or along Melbourne’s St Kilda stretch: Diners can lounge indoors or on one of the al fresco daybeds and tuck into steak and pie along with some of the freshest, most scrumptious salads and calamari fritters we’ve had.
