Birthday Treat! Pleasant experience!

It was a Birthday Treat for my dear cousin on his 21st Birthday. Having to know he loves buffet dinner i did alot of researches till i come upon this Hotel Restaurant, The review was good in other forums too, When we were there, the seatings spacious, Its cozy & well furnished. When i was there i am really surprise how widely spread it is in terms of variety of food. Its not just the variety delighted us, The standard of the food tasting, presentation of certain speciality food. The good range from vegetarian corner, seafood/sashimi to roasted pork and duck. For people that love Oysters, the abundance of Oysters lying open & fresh tantalized your senses & cravings into wanting more. For Sashimi lovers, thick cut salmons/yellow tail/tuna laying nicely in array with crushed iced beneath the whole stretch serving chill & fresh. People that love other seafood like Crayfish/Prawns/Crabs/Fish, they came in various style of cooking. Let it be cold Crayfish/Prawns or have them beautifully set up in a petite plate with them posing in spotlight accompanied by some mashed potatoes dress with thick gravy that tasted like concentrated seafood bisque. Asian style chilli Crabs with Mantou for dipping. HK style steam fish or Thai style sweet & sour fish all perfected with their own original taste. Salad corner were handy, plentiful of choices for the greens if you like to mix it yourself or you can go for the prepared one that fix in a fushion style like having ingrediants such as (wine jelly, cut octopus, different kind of beans in sorta wafu dressing. We really had a wonderful evening pratically EVERYTHING delighted us. I can't praise the food enough but lastly i am also very impressed by the attentive servers / waiters & waitresses. Without them it won't be such pleasant & unforgetable visit for us. I spent: $66/pax (with UBO preferred platinum card or AMEX promotion that gives 15% off total food bills) Visit date: 05/03/2012 Visit time: 6.30pm
