Gunther's Modern French cuisine opened on 2 August 2007 at swanky Purvis Street in collaboration between award-winning chef Gunther Hubrechsen and Roberto Galetti representing the Garibaldi Group. Reflecting a warm, elegant, almost gallery-like space with iconic furnishings such as wall lamps from Nostos Vetrerie Murano, icon lamp Atollo from Oluce and leather chairs from FRAG, the mood is collectively set for appreciating Gunther's gourmet cuisine.

Just got suckered, but it's my fault

You see.... some time ago a group of 8 of us went for dinner... as we are not sure what to order, the waiter suggested "why don't I get the chef to do something nice? some fish, some beef...etc" ...... WHY NOT? the bill came to..... $400... EACH. ok... we had 2 bottles of house champagne & 4 bottles of not expensive wine.... .... nothing is worth $400..... maybe nothing is a strong word..... but at least not at Gunther's...... ;)
