Hainan Kor, Singapore's only eatery offering authentic, home-styled Hainanese cuisine, now offers home-delivery and catering, bringing its genuine, "as-grandma-would-have-cooked-it" recipes to Singaporeans all over the island.
Started in 2007 by Mr Jimmy Lim, a second generation immigrant of pure Hainanese heritage, the restaurant aims to showcase Hainanese dishes beyond the widely loved Hainanese chicken rice.
Traditional Hainanese foods not commonly known amongst locals include Beef Stew, Hainanese Pork Chop, Braised Pork Belly, Fish Maw Soup, Mutton Soup and Hainanese Ginger Soup. To ensure authenticity, the restaurant's kitchen is helmed by an experienced and skilful chef formerly of a famous Victoria Street Hainanese restaurant.
