Introduction:

Himawari Food Pte Ltd was started in 2004 as the holding company which launched the Himawari Japanese Restaurant at SAFRA Mount Faber. Its renowned Japanese ala-carte buffet with over 80 different dishes which includes shabu shabu has helped gain awards and recommendations from local media such as The Straits Times, Wine & Dine as well as with Japanese publication, Shin Nichi Ho.

The first branch was opened at Neil Road at the end of 2006 to cater to the clientele in the Central Business District. Neil Road branch also includes a private function room with modern audio-video system and WiFi access suitable for company meetings, group celebrations and parties.

Poor Service and Bad Attitude

On 19 Dec 2011,@ 1140 hrs, we visited this so call "Reputed restaurant" . The food is all right. But the service is very poor... There is this two chinese staff , one plumb and other thin. Starting work the plumb one start applying leave . Throughout the 2 hrs, only the green tea is refilled once.. Staffs in this outlet were quite hostile , they never smile. I think as customer we like owe them alot of money. Service is very poor throughout. Octopus sashimi was also sliced until ham so thick and hard .. Per Oyster $7 . If order $88/- buffet can order only 10 oysters .. which cost only $70/- and cant order other dishes. Quite ridicule.. Most of the faceb0ook fans suggest not to patronise this resaurant. Waste of time and not worthof money.. Well this days service staff are the king not the cust... Utterly disappointed
