OKINAWAN food might be considered one of the more 'provincial' cuisines of Japan, but it doesn't mean that a restaurant serving it needs to sport the rustic look. In fact, one of the newest Japanese restaurants in town, and the second here dedicated to Okinawan cuisine, has upped the design stakes with its contemporary 'rustic chic', if you will.
Vertical orange-brown glass panels have been erected to wrap around the restaurant, making it look like a glass-walled room which emanates a warm, inviting glow when the lights are turned on at night.
