Ministry of Food Pte Ltd (MOF) was first incorporated on May 5, 2006 in Singapore. Its first outlet MOF @ My Izakaya began in the same year at Marina Square.
The "My Izakaya" concept successfully brings mass culture Japanese cuisine in Singapore to greater heights with its aim to create a healthy, wholesome and charming dining experience, which emphasise no added MSG, chemicals, preservatives, artificial colourings or flavourings, and an emphasis on fresh ingredients always.
Coupled with affordable pricing and a customer service team ready to serve with a smile, MOF has thus gained a following among diners of all ages in Singapore who appreciate the quality and value of Japanese food.
MOF @ Japanese Sweets & Coffee was subsequently opened in June 2008 at Lot 1 Shoppers Mall in sub-urban Singapore. To date, there are five such cafe outlets all around Singapore, including a newest location in the heart of the city at Raffles City!
The company subsequently launched Emperor Q, a Chinese casual restaurant and cafe, in West Coast Plaza in January 2009. More varieties of interesting desserts are offered here in a Chinese restaurant setting.
The year 2009 also marks its joint venture cooperation with European F&B ZENZEN Group from Monaco. The first ZENZEN outlet in Asia has opened in June in Singapore's Bugis Junction, offering popular European foods with a fast food concept.
Regionally, MOF is set to make its mark in the F&B industry as its opens more locations in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and even China, in 2009.
